LA Times the New Freeway Traffic

According to the New York Times, its West Coast competition is facing a growing reader sentiment that it’s “not the paper that it used to be.” The LA Times still maintains a large number of bureaus in other US cities and aboard, and is a contender for lots of awards. But despite all that the ownership changes and cuts at the Times have taken a toll, and the New York Times says the LA paper “has joined freeway traffic as a unifying source of complaint” amongst Los Angelenos.
