Killer Whale Fatally Mauls Trainer

A trainer at SeaWorld was killed yesterday after one of the killer whales she worked with dragged her underwater reports the Orlando Sentinel. Witnesses say the 12,000-pound animal lunged at Dawn Brancheau, grabbed her by the arm, “tossed her around in his mouth and pulled her beneath the water as dozens of tourists looked on in horror.” The killer whale, named Tilikum, has been involved in two other fatal incidents.
