Is Pizza a Vegetable?

Is pizza a vegetable? That’s one of the questions Congress is spending their time debating, says the LA Times. Buried in the spending bill is a line questioning whether the two tablespoons of tomato paste that dresses school pizzas can still be called a vegetable serving. Apparently, the Department of Agriculture is trying to infringe on the right of a school kid to have pizza for lunch.
