Is College Too Easy?

Is college too easy? That’s the question in the Washington Post this morning. In the last 50 years, the amount of time college students spend studying has gone from about 24 hours a week to about 15 hours a week. Critics of the system say colleges are too quick to reward students with easy As and distract them with “athletics, clubs and climbing walls on campuses that increasingly resemble resorts.”
