In Tablet World, E-Reader Becomes Obsolete


See ya later, e-reader. The Wall Street Journal says tablets are becoming so common that the dedicated e-reader may be going to way of the Palm Pilot. Tablets keep getting smaller and cheaper, which means the downward trend for e-reader sales—19.9 million in 2012 vs. 27.7 million units in 2011— is likely to continue.
