‘In Cold Blood’ Killers Eyed For Florida Murders

Police are investigating a connection between the infamous killers profiled in Truman Capote’s “In Cold Blood” and a Florida family that was murdered in 1959, says the Tampa Bay Times this morning. The possibility that Perry Smith and Richard Hickock were responsible for murdering the Florida family, as well as a family in Kansas has been considered since the 1960s. Florida detectives are now working to exhume the bodies of Smith and Hickock.
