If you’re looking for the “Apple of your eye” then the San Jose Mercury News has the perfect dating site for you. Called Cupidtino, it’s a site exclusively for Mac lovers started by a 31-year-old app designer who says he was inspired by a PC-loving girlfriend. A fight prompted by her unenthusiastic reaction to a new iPad led him to an in-the-shower realization: “I realized if I were single and went on a date today, the first thing I’d ask is, ‘What apps are on your phone?’ ‘Angry Bird’? They have a lot of free time. Amex? They’re making sure their finances are in order. I rolled up my sleeves and started the site.” It’s free to join and only costs $4.79 a month to receive messages from other users. Why $4.79? Because that’s the price of a venti mocha at Starbucks in Cupertino, Apple’s hometown.
