French Electrician ‘Finds’ 271 Picassos in Garage

Talk about an incentive to clean the garage. A French electrician claims he found 271 works by Picasso in his garage. The New York Post says he’s now being sued by Picasso’s estate, which is claiming the man stole them. The man, who says he used to work for Picasso, told investigators that the collection of paintings and drawings was given to him by the painter’s second wife. Appraisers have estimated that just eight of the paintings would fetch somewhere around $52 million.
