Focus of Ford’s Focus is Fuel Efficiency


Ford’s “world car” will be unveiled at the Detroit International Auto Show. The new Focus was designed in Germany, is “sportier” than previous models and will comes with a 10 percent increase in fuel efficiency reports the Free Press. Ford says their goal for the new model is to get better than 40 miles per gallon. By putting more emphasis on fuel efficiency, the Wall Street Journal says the automaker is hoping to give the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla a run for their money.
