Facebook Status: License to Brag

Really tired today after a fun-filled vacation in the Alberta and British Columbia. If I had enough energy to update my Facebook status, that’s what it would read. Which would make me a braggart, says the Wall Street Journal, just like everyone else who updates their status. As writer Elizabeth Bernstein puts it: “the Internet has given us a global audience for our bombast, and social media sites encourage it.”
