Facebook Only Has Room For One Mark Zuckerberg


Will the real Mark Zuckerberg please stand up? The Indianapolis Star says a local attorney had his Facebook profile deleted simply because he shares a name with the site’s founder. When he inquired, Zuckerberg (the attorney) was told his profile had been deleted because of identity fraud. It’s not his first run-in with Facebook—two years ago, when he first tried to join the social networking site he was forced to provide copies of his drivers license, his birth certificate and his Bar Association license. It was a nuisance, says Zuckerberg, but not as much as this time: “All my friends are upset with me because they think I de-friended them—I’ve had to do a lot of explaining.”

The LA Times says after they contacted Facebook about the issue, they received word that Zuckerberg’s profile was reinstated. 

As you can see from his homepage, Indiana-based Zuckerberg has got a couple years, and a couple pounds, on his Palo Alto-based namesake:
