Facebook Detox

A group of college kids is going where few have gone before: to a land with no Facebook. Their school issued a challenge to see if anyone could stay off the social networking site for 30 days, says the Philadelphia Inquirer, and 18 students, or half of one percent of the school’s population, signed up. The school will offer weekly support group meetings while they detox. Counselors at the college say they’ve noticed an “increased incidence of Facebook-related anxiety and depression in students” who seek guidance.
