The “Eat Pray Love” movie is coming out on Friday. And under the headline “Eat Pray Zilch,” the New York Post looks at women who’ve tried to adopt the lifestyle preached in the book and ended up “broke and broken.” Mainly, the article is a send up of the ‘Pray’ part of the book, saying it can be easy for Americans, who come from “a culture where we’re encouraged to pay any price to make ourselves feel better,” to get caught in enlightenment-seeking scams.
