Dreamliner Flies Into More Problems


USA Today chronicles the many problems facing Boeing’s Dreamliner jets. Just this week, one reported a fuel leak, while another caught on fire. The Dreamliner is made of lightweight carbon composites instead of the traditional steel, a feature that was initially a huge selling point as it offered airlines a more cost-effective alternative. Now, however, many are wondering whether quality control issues will ground the fleet for good.
