Disneyland Nixes Nylons for Female Employees

Cinderella still has to wear hers, but the rest of Disneyland’s female, non-costumed employees finally won the right not to wear pantyhose under their skirts says the Orlando Sentinel. The amusement park is known for its strict dress code, which has changed very little since it was adopted in the 1950s. The Sentinel calls the decision to nix nylons the “biggest fashion shake-up” at the amusement park since male employees were granted permission to grow mustaches.
