So you didn’t win the epic Powerball jackpot. Stop pouting and start celebrating says the New York Daily News, noting that a disproportional amount of past winners have succumb to addiction and other problems. One past winner offers this advice: “Ignore all phone calls from people claiming to be ‘brilliant money managers,’ and go with a reputable, big-name firm instead and before you even claim your ticket, get a lawyer and a financial adviser and start building a strategy.”
