Dead Fish, Birds Stoke Conspiracy Theories

First, it was thousands of dead birds in Arkansas. Then it was millions of dead fish in Maryland. The Baltimore Sun says the spate of strange wildlife stories in the news recently has made some people fear that the end of days is near. Scientists claim to have explanations for both occurrences—the birds were likely victims of New Year’s Eve fireworks; the fish succumbed to colder than normal water—but that hasn’t stopped conspiracy theories from flying around.
