Check, Don’t Carry On Homemade Treats

If you are planning to bring some homemade treats on the plane, be careful what you choose to make. The Seattle Times says airport security won’t let passengers bring homemade jams and jellies in their carry-ons because they violate the no liquid rule. Homemade pies, however, are a go.  The Times says the no liquid rule is so strict that one person was asked to throw away a Snow Globe because it may have exceeded the 3.4 ounce rule.
