Celebrities Flee Twitter Over Photo Fine Print

Ellen DeGeneres says if you use Twitter you should stop using Twitpic, a third-party service that allows you to easily post a photo for your friends to see. The New York Times says DeGeneres’ warning comes after news that Twitpic is partnering with a photo agency that claims it has the rights to re-sell your photos without your consent. The agency has said it is solely interested in the pictures posted by celebrities but professional photographers worry the deal could extend to any work they publish through Twitpic.
