The carpet was orange, not red. But it was still studded with stars says the Tennessean. Last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards brought out hundreds of the industry’s well-known names, who gathered to watch Carrie Underwood make history. The singer became the first woman to win the ACM’s Entertainer of the Year award twice. Other big winners included Lady Antebellum, who stole the show with five awards, including one for Group of the Year.
