Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s new book hits stores today. No, it’s not about politics or governing, but rather the history of an obscure period of hockey in Toronto, reports the New York Times.
A Great Game: The Forgotten Leafs & the Rise of Professional Hockey
took Harper nine years to research and write. He’s been Prime Minister for seven of those years. The New York Times says it raises the question of how he had time to write it while governing. But it also illustrate’s the importance of hockey to Canadians.
