Body of Bush Aide Stumps Police

The body of John P. Wheeler, a former aide to Presidents George H.W. Bush and Ronald Regan and a prominent Pentagon staffer, was found in a Delaware dumpster late on New Year’s Eve Day, reports the Wilmington News Journal this morning. Police say Wheeler was last seen on an Amtrak train coming from Washington DC on December 28. The News Journal says authorities are being extremely “tight-lipped” about the case, refusing to release details about how Wheeler died or where his body was found. They have, however, rule the case a homicide.
