‘Bladerunner’ Oscar Pistorius Charged with Murder

Oscar Pistorius, the man who ran to Olympic glory on two “blades,” was arrested by South African police yesterday after being accused of shooting and killing his live-in girlfriend. It’s unclear exactly what happened but USA Today says some media outlets are reporting the girlfriend was trying to surprise Pistorius for Valentine’s Day when she caught him by surprise. He’ll be arraigned later today on murder charges.
