Bionic Cat Claims Fame After Receiving Two Prosthetic Legs

He has nine lives like any other cat but he’s the first one who can say he’s had six legs. This story broke too late to make the US papers, but all the UK ones picked it up. The Daily Mail has a great picture of Oscar, the bionic cat. He’s just received two prosthetic hind legs after having his original ones sliced off in an accident. The groundbreaking surgery will allow Oscar to resume life as a normal cat, though his vet says he’ll stay indoors now, as his legs aren’t “suitable for outdoor life.”
