“Bellagio Bandit” Steals $1.5M in Chips

In every casino heist movie I’ve seen it’s always the vault and not the chips that the robbers are after. And there’s a reason for that. The Las Vegas Sun says police are looking for a masked bandit who stole $1.5 million of chips from the Bellagio last night. But they’re not looking too hard.  Authorities say they are confident their suspect will be nabbed when he tries to cash in his earnings. The chips are unique to the Bellagio and must be redeemed at the casino.
