Remember when your mother always used to tell you to straighten up? Well, she knew what she was talking about says the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Bad posture can cause a lifetime of health problems, from a weakening of the spine to the tightening of the chest. More kids suffer from bad posture these days because they spend so much time sitting hunched in front of computers. As one expert puts it: “Poor posture is really a pediatric problem that has geriatric consequences.”
