Astronauts in Danger of Going Blind

Turns out, there’s more than one thing that’ll make you go blind, if you do it too frequently. The Orlando Sentinel says scientists are worried that astronauts who make too many visits to space are endanger of losing their eyesight. Apparently, they noticed the problem after a group of astronauts came back from the International Space Station with blurred vision. In fact, 60 percent of those who’ve done a six-month stint aboard the station reported a “gradual blurring of eyesight.” Experts are worried that in the future, astronauts could go blind on long, multi-year missions.
