Lindsay Lohan. Charlie Sheen. Mel Gibson. If you’re sick of reading those names, you’re in luck—the New York Daily News says there’s an app for that. Called “Silence of the Celebs,” the program lets you filter out any mention of tabloid-friendly celebrities from a growing list of news sites. So far the app only works on certain sites (The New York Times, CNN, The Huffington Post, TMZ.com, Google News, and Gawker) but plans to expand are in the works. The developers say Lohan and Sheen top the list of celebs people are sick of, with Mel Gison and Justin Bieber on their heels.
