America’s Tech ‘Rust Belt’

In an article that compares the decline of companies like Intel and HP and IBM with what happened to the heavy industrial companies of America, the Wall Street Journal says a technology “Rust Belt” is developing in this country. But the Journal says unlike what happened in the Rust Belt, where revenue was lost to rivals based in Asia, the tech stalwarts are being taken down by domestic competitors.
