Air Chihuahuas Touches Down in Texas

There’s a chihuahua storm blowing into Texas says the Houston Chronicle this morning. Twenty-nine dogs from LA, all hoping to find new owners, touched down in the city yesterday. Popularized by celebrities like Paris Hilton, the chihuahuas were a hot accessory in LA. But now, the city’s shelters are overrun and the LA SPCA is frantic to find them new owners in other states. Hoping that the small dog trend is not passe in other parts of the country, organizers have arranged several Air Chihuahua flights over the last year.
