Move over Incredible Hulk, Americans have a new favorite superhero, says the Chicago Tribune: Abe Lincoln. It’s been the year of Lincoln, from the out-now bio pic to the book/film “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” and reports of a movie about 16th president’s early years called “The Green Blade Rises.” Historians say we’re obsessed with Lincoln because he was a “fascinating man, one who had a humble frontier childhood but who went on to sign the Emancipation Proclamation.”
