ABC News Sued for “Pink Slime” Coverage

A company called Beef Products Inc. is suing ABC News, reports the LA Times this morning, for their coverage of the “pink slime” controversy. According to the lawsuit, ABC News “misled consumers into believing that the product was unsafe, even though it had been approved for human consumption by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.”
