Indian Pole Gymnastics Gains Popularity

How’d he do that? There’s a great Reuters photo in the New York Daily News this morning. It’s of several men practicing a type of Indian gymnastics called Mallakhamb. The art form, which also includes elements of martial arts, has been around since the 12th century. The Daily News says it has recently seen a surge in popularity and will be showcased at the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
