She doesn’t want money or fame. She just wants her “name on the damn photo,” says Barbara Gray, who recently revealed herself to be the woman getting “licky” with Elvis in Alfred Wertheimer’s classic photo, “The Kiss.” The New York Post says Gray found Wertheimer on Facebook and revealed her identity after 55 years of not kissing and telling. Many women have come forward over the years, claiming to be the mysterious blonde, but gray was able to convince the photographer by accurately recalling details from the 1956 evening in Virginia, and be revealing her height—a diminutive 4 feet, 10 inches. So was Elvis a good kisser? Gray told Vanity Fair he was “beautiful,” “a little insecure” and had an accent that made him sound like “a goofy guy from the sticks.” So…I guess that’s a toss up.
