13-Year-Old Attempts Mt. Everest

How young is too young to climb Mount Everest? The New York Times asks that question in the Sports section this morning, with a profile of 13-year-old climber Jordan Romero. He’ll be attempting the climb along with his father. It’s part of the “Team Jordan” push to climb the highest peak in each of the seven continents. They’ve completed five of the climbs already.
