“Woohoo” That Train is Beautiful

It’s good to be passionate about something. In the tradition of the Double Rainbow Guy, the internet has now found the “Excited Train Guy.” Apparently, the more you know about trains the more the little things excite you.

Here’s how “Excited Train Guy” reacted when he got a glimpse of a 1953 General Motors EMD F7 locomotive.

I haven’t been able to track down the identity of “Excited Train Guy” yet, but this isn’t the first time this has happened. A YouTube user named Mark (trainsandhawksfan17) rose to viral video video fame in February for a similarly excited reaction to a rarely-seen locomotive.

The Illinois Railfan Talk Show interviewed Mark to find out why he got so excited.  He says he didn’t realize until later how enthusiastic he’d been.
