The World Through Google Street View’s Lens

In the three years since it debuted, Google Street View has captured everything from car crashes to cheerleader-run car washes, not to mention lots of lots of people flipping the bird. The array inspired artist Jon Rafman to create a slideshow of some of the most salient images he’s come across.
I read about his work on the blog photozz.com, which quotes Rafman saying, “the Street View photography had a spontaneous quality unspoiled by the sensitivities or agendas of a human photographer.” I bet the man caught lowering his pants in a parking lot would second that.
