Move over Paris—there’s a new City of Light in town. Check out this crazy, and very cool photo taken from the International Space Station. I think it kind of looks like a string of volcanoes erupting but it’s actually the Eastern seaboard at night. That big mess of nights on the right side of the frame? That’s New York City and Long Island. Moving west, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh are next, near the center of the frame. And then Baltimore, the Washington, D.C. area, and Virginia. Oh and that thing framing Earth on the left side of the photo are parts from two Russian vehicles parked nearby.
