BBC Radio Host’s Freudian Slip Gets Funny Analysis

Britain’s Culture Secretary is Jeremy Hunt. But on a live radio program this morning, BBC host James Naughtie mistakenly called him Jeremy Cunt. The error was clearly inadvertent, but the predictable complaints followed. As did the e-mails from those who thought it funny.

One response from a speech expert is so clever that the hosts shared it on air. The writer, a psychology professor, argued that the British Prime Minister is really at fault for appointing someone named Hunt to oversee the Culture portfolio.
