Sea Turtle Takes Video That Aids Return of Lost Camera

A Florida man was worried that the owner of a camera he’d pulled from the ocean had met an untimely demise after seeing “a puzzling video clip of splashing water that appeared to have been taken as the camera thrashed around under the control of something that wasn’t human” says the Miami Herald. But a lively Internet search lead him the camera’s owner, who had lost the camera off the coast of Aruba six months earlier. After much analysis, it seems that the video was taken by a hungry sea turtle that got ensnared in the camera’s strap.
