NYC Debuts Skeleton Speed Signs

Things just got a whole lot creepier on the streets of New York City. In an attempt to scare drivers into driving more slowly, the city has decided to use “flashing digital skeletons” on a series of new traffic signs says the New York Post. When a driver speeds by the signs, they will turn from “the image of a presumably healthy pedestrian happily crossing the street” into a “skeleton ominously marching toward the words: ‘SLOW DOWN’”
