From now on, road signs will seem less angry. That’s because the federal government has decided that street signs should no longer be printed in all caps. Instead, they will feature the easier-to-read sentence case. USA Today says the change is a “nod to the fading eyesight of the nation’s growing number of aging Baby Boomers.” And while cities around the country have until 2015 to comply, they are already griping that the federal government isn’t kicking in any money to replace the existing signage.
